Scott Morrison has refused to confirm or deny that a prisoner swap secured the release of Australian academic Kylie Moore Gilbert, saying other Australians could be put at risk if he did.
The Prime Minister held a virtual press conference about Dr Gilbert Moore landmark release from an Iranian prison on Thursday.
Mr Morrison was asked about the release from a Thai prison of at least two Iranian men, who were convicted of terrorism charges after being part of an attempt to assassinate Israeli diplomats in Bangkok in 2012.

But Mr Morrison said it would not be responsible to give details about the deal.
