A total of 16 fire engines and special appliances were called to the scene on Haverhill Road, Little Wratting. Firefighters were first called to the scene at just after 4.30pm after receiving “multiple” calls from people in the area. Eyewitnesses reported seeing flames and thick plumes of smoke rising from the structure. The fire was out at 9.38pm and nobody is understood to have been injured. A video from the scene, taken by Tyler Bell, shows the plumes of thick smoke rising from the barn and the extent of the damage. Thankfully, fire crews were able to bring the fire under control and ensure the flames did not spread to surrounding buildings. There are no reports of injuries from the fire, and police were not called to assist at the scene.
